Winter season in Mallorca is to some extent subdued compared to the other seasons. The season ends in late January in which the island now prepares to be sprinkled with white dots of almond blooms. The largest event of Palma, the feast of San Sebastian, happens in January, and is celebrated with huge outdoor barbecues and live music form international and local artists.
