Young groups of singles and young couples are well suited to the resort during the summer, however in the lower seasons, the resort becomes popular with families as the nightclubs are rarely open. Palma Nova has very hot weather, especially during July and August. All the way between May and October is sunshine and its only from November to April that you may need a jacket in the evenings. It is also more likely to rain in the winter months so you may wish to wrap up warm. Holidaymakers who prefer not to stray too far from their accommodation and the beach will be able to find all they need in the commercial centre of Palma Nova, which is liberally sprinkled with convenience stores, souvenir shops, gift shops, and clothing outlets. There are two water parks in the area providing great fun for both children and adults
