Situated on the east coast of the Bay of Palma, El Arenal (also known as S'Arenal) is a lively and highly developed resort, popular with German travellers (many of whom have stayed) and is ideal not only for singles, but families too. There is a water park in El Arenal called Aqualand Arenal, that is very popular with people of all ages and has many swimming pools, rides and slides for you to try. If you're looking for a Mallorca beach holiday, then El Arenal
is perfect. The blue flag miles of sandy beach here, crammed in peak season with lots of watersports including fun water rides, windsurfing, pedalos and all the rest are here. El Arenal's nightlife has a laid back beach bar feel, and many bars with café style approaches stay open til dawn. There's a lovely beach front promenade as well, also lined with bars. The holiday season in El Arenal begins in April and ends in late October. The temperature ranges from 20-38 degrees celcium. The narrow streets of El Arenal are very busy with many bars, cafes, restaurants and gift and craft shops. A tree lined promenade runs along the beach and joins the quieter resort of C’an Pastilla.
